This privacy policy will explain how I use the personal data I collect from you when you use my services.
What data do I collect?
Minimal personal identification information to identify you or your business such as your name, business/email address, phone number etc.
How will I collect your data?
I collect and process data when you:
· Contact me via email, telephone, post or through my website contact form.
· Request any of my services.
How will I use your data?
Your data will be used solely for the purposes of conducting business between myself and you as the client. This data will not be shared with any third party unless this information is requested by HMRC as part of an audit of my accounts.
How will I store your data?
Any information I collect is stored on the following servers:
GoDaddy hosts my website. This is protected by a two-factor authentication process.
Microsoft OneDrive. This is cloud storage accessed from my personal computer via a secure password with two-factor authentication. Files on which your data will be stored will be further protected by two-factor authentication.
How long will I keep your data for?
As clients may request my services more than once, data is securely stored and not deleted unless a client specifically requests this.
HMRC requires that business owners keep records ‘for at least 5 years after the 31 January submission deadline of the relevant tax year’ (HMRC – ‘How long to keep your records’). HMRC has the right to request to see my records at any time.
If you wish to have your data deleted or amended, please contact me and I will do this immediately provided this complies with HMRC’s requirements.
Marketing
Your data will never be used for marketing or promotion purposes without first seeking your written permission to do so. This may happen in the case where I would wish to publish a testimonial you have written for me on my website.

You have the right to:
· be informed as to how your personal data will be collected and used
· access the personal data that I hold
· request I amend any inaccurate personal data
· request I erase any personal data (subject to legal conditions set out by HMRC)

· object to how your personal data is processed, under certain conditions
· data portability – to request that I transfer data I have collected to another organisation or
directly to you, under certain conditions.
You also have rights regarding automated decision making and profiling.
Cookies
Please note data tracking is not enabled on my website, therefore cookies will not be used to follow your movements across the pages.
